1. Our Services
T1 Shipping Company provides shipping and freight forwarding services to Jamaica, including air and sea freight, package consolidation, and customs assistance.
2. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
• Provide accurate shipping and contact information
• Ensure all items comply with Jamaican and international shipping laws
• Properly package items for safe transport
• Pay all shipping fees, customs duties, taxes, and related charges.
3. Prohibited Items
We do not ship illegal or restricted items, including but not limited to drugs, firearms, explosives, counterfeit goods, or any items prohibited by Jamaican law. We reserve the right to refuse or report such shipments.
4. Customs & Delays
All shipments are subject to inspection by the Jamaica Customs Agency. Delays caused by customs, carriers, weather, or other factors beyond our control are not the responsibility of T1 Shipping Company.
5. Delivery Timeframes
Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
6. Payments & Fees
• All charges must be paid before shipment release
• Unpaid or delayed payments may result in storage fees.
7. Liability
T1 Shipping Company is not responsible for loss or damage caused by customs inspections, carriers, acts of God, or improper packaging. Customers are encouraged to insure high-value items.
8. Claims
Claims for lost or damaged items must be reported within 7 days of receiving the shipment and must include supporting documentation.
9. Unclaimed Shipments
Shipments not collected within 30 days may incur storage fees or be handled in accordance with Jamaican law.
10. Privacy
Customer information is kept confidential and used only for shipping and operational purposes unless required by law.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Jamaica.
12. Updates
T1 Shipping Company may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services means you accept any changes.
